Copyediting
The following is a standard list of copyediting marks taken
from The
Chicago Manual of Style, fourteenth edition. Editors
make these marks, often in red, in the text of your original
manuscript. Creative Publishing supplies cards that show copyediting
marks. To change other marks of punctuation, either cross
out the wrong punctuation and write the correction beside
it or alter the existing punctuation.
